You can speed up the compare operation by selecting the option Assume that files with identical metadata are equal. This comparison is accurate under all circumstances, but the operation can be slow. When selecting the option Compare each byte, Sync Checker will open each pair of matching files in the two folders and compare their contents byte by byte. If you choose the folders via the navigation panel, Sync Checker will allow you to see hidden files and will also show macOS bundles as they really are, namely folders simulating files.
